Company LogoGrant Manager, One Acre Fund, Nairobi

One Acre Fund is on a rapid growth trajectory - we plan to reach 500,000 farm families by 2017, and at least one million by the end of the decade. To make that happen, we will need to raise an ambitious level of funds. To help our development department operate smoothly and effectively, we need a highly capable and highly motivated grants manager to manage the financial and administrative aspects of reporting and compliance with our top foundation and bilateral grants/contracts. The position will work alongside our program and operations staff to ensure full compliance with these awards.

Key job responsibilities include grant fiscal and compliance management; monitoring, evaluation, and reporting; foundation grant reporting; and representation and diplomacy. The right person for the job is a highly organized, articulate, conceptual thinker with the proven ability to facilitate both internal and external consensus. We need a tenacious problem-solver, with excellent writing and analytical skills, and who ideally brings experience in grants management and strategic communications (or similar types of functions).

Company LogoIHF Co-Director in Indonesia, International Humanity Foundation, Bali

If you're looking for a long-term volunteering opportunity, the International Humanity Foundation is offering you the chance to help in one of our education centers and children's homes in Indonesia.

IHF is looking for hard-working, committed volunteers to help in our children's homes and education centers in Indonesia. IHF provides education, and in some cases, homes, to children in need in six centers across Indonesia, Thailand and Kenya. IHF has no central headquarters; each center is a product of its environment and follows the cultural code and norms of its host country.

We have four centers in Indonesia, in Bali, Jakarta, Medan and Banda Aceh. Our Jakarta and Aceh centers provide homes to a small number of children, while all centers offer English, math and computer classes to disadvantaged children. With a population of over 240 million, Indonesia's public education system often fails to give children a chance to escape the poverty they were born into. We fill that gap and give kids a chance to aim higher.
